[ It's always a joyous day when the students of the older classes need to come into class to help out the younger ones. A joyous day for Minako, that is, since it means she can stare at them and talk to them without seeming like a totally random stalker fangirl. Not that Minako has a whole lot of shame to actually mind that, but still...

She can barely contain herself the entire day, and by the time it really is time for class she's - uncharacteristically so - one of the first at the door, bouncing from one foot to another in glee and excitement. Once the teacher opens the classroom door, she's in first (maybe even shoving some other girls out of the way) to look at the partner listings and seat arrangements only to squeal at the name listed to her own. Bingo. She just took home the complete jackpot! All she has to do is go sit there and wait for the older students to arrive.

And when they do, Minako doesn't even bother to be subtle in the slightest-- the moment she spots Aidou entering the classroom, she doesn't even let him look at the listing, she's already waving and loudly calling out from her spot in the back. ]

Aidou-senpaaaii..! Over here!

But the second she let's go is the second that Aidou is very studiously straightening his clothes and checking his pockets again to make sure he wasn't mysteriously pick pocketed, Minako had just been that close! ]

Why are you doubting it? I thought it was fairly obvious that I don't.

[ because, you know, his heart only goes doki doki for Kaname? It's not like he's been hiding that this whole time at school or anything! ]

[ What a great plan for next time, Aidou.. maybe she should stick her hands in there anyway to see if she can find a precious memento of the time they spent together that day! She can parade it around at school to make sure the other girls very well realise that Aidou-senpai is off limits from now on.

But nope, this time she was good, she didn't take anything! Instead she just ends up staring at him in complete confusion when he says that. You know, as if his dokis for Kaname aren't the most obvious thing in the world, as if he's been saying he likes Minako all along. ]

Well, that's different.. [ Just how, Minako?! She sounds oddly serious about it though, as if she's just really that convinced of every single ridiculous word that comes out of her mouth right about now. ]

I mean, that's just you being tsundere, right? I know it's pretty hard to deal with the affections of someone as pretty and charming as me, so I don't blame you. It just means I have to ease you into loving me!

[ stick her hands in there and she may end up short a few digits! Aidou was a math whiz you know. But he stared at her with suspicion before he finally sighed. ]

I don't think you quite know what that word means. Tsundere is simply a person who refuses to admit they like someone when they do, usually to violent effect. I am merely stating that you're nothing but a fellow student whom I've been bribed asked to teach since someone can't seem to concentrate on her lessons!

[ he flashed her a hard look, completely serious now ]

Why don't you apply yourself more to school? You clearly aren't as dumb as you make yourself look!

[ well.... at least Minako had the blunt part of Aidou's personality right. That was a start! ]

[ And at least Aidou is right about Minako - she really does make herself seem a lot dumber than she really is. Granted, she's still not too textbook smart since she's too lazy to study that way, but she's scheming and strategic and has a really good analytic mind..

But it's a lot more charming as a girlfriend to be a ditz, right? So she just smiles at Aidou in return - almost slyly, as if she's saying she understands very well what he means and that he's right, but she sure isn't going to be the first to admit it here. ]

But if my grades get too good, then maybe senpai won't spend time with me anymore.. after all, I am nothing but a fellow student who you've been asked to teach. [ She can't work on changing that if she can't even hang out with him..!! ]

... and his love of sweets, but that's a minor set-back. As is that sly little look that she's giving him like she's about to gobble him up just to make him keep her deepest, darkest secret.

Scary. But he can't let nerves get the best of him and therefore he puffs himself up with pride. ]

I can hardly ignore you if you're one of the students in my class.

But that would never happen. Only the elite get into the Night Class!

[ or so his class has been dubbed because so many of the students burned the midnight oil in some manner or another whether by study or by work. Such was the life of the elite after all! ]

Look like someone just gave her a goal here. Because this smells suspiciously like a challenge.. and it's not like Minako can ever back down when a challenge is just dangled right in front of her like that! Her eyes grow wider as she leans closer towards him again - he might even be able to see a faint sparkle in them at this point. ]

So what you're saying is that you won't ignore me anymore when I'm in the Night Class, senpai? You'll finally notice me.. and then--

[ She gasps, grabbing his hand and intertwining her fingers. Even if she'll get pushed away or slapped over it, it'll be well worth the moment. ]

We'll fall into a deep, passionate love..!

[ Hey, Minako thinks that's a great ship as well! Although she has to say she can't help but feel something for the forbidden arch nemesis kind of love.. oh, the ways Kazama-senpai stares at Hijikata-sensei, she could practically make Renaissance paintings of it if she was actually a good artist!

But those fantasies will have to be left for later. She can't waste a moment of the precious type she's spending with her extra special senpai right now, right? ]

It's okay..! I know it's just your instinct to deny it for as long as you can, but eventually everyone falls to the charms of the goddess of love and beauty, don't you know..? There's no escape..

[ He's been feeling nothing but chills since he made that faithful promise to tutor Minako earlier that week and he's feeling it even more distinctly now that she's mentioned the goddess of love and beauty with those hearts in her eyes like he's cupid with an apple stuck in his mouth and an arrow sticking straight out of it.

Even getting into the elusive Night Class and managing to stay there and watch Aidou all the time.. whatever, so what if it'll be hard work, the precious time she will get to spend with senpai and all the photo albums she could make out of snapshots of their precious moments together will totally make it worth it!

But she nods at his last question, and cheerfully grabs his arm again. (But Minako, he just escaped...) ]
