[ It's always a joyous day when the students of the older classes need to come into class to help out the younger ones. A joyous day for Minako, that is, since it means she can stare at them and talk to them without seeming like a totally random stalker fangirl. Not that Minako has a whole lot of shame to actually mind that, but still...

She can barely contain herself the entire day, and by the time it really is time for class she's - uncharacteristically so - one of the first at the door, bouncing from one foot to another in glee and excitement. Once the teacher opens the classroom door, she's in first (maybe even shoving some other girls out of the way) to look at the partner listings and seat arrangements only to squeal at the name listed to her own. Bingo. She just took home the complete jackpot! All she has to do is go sit there and wait for the older students to arrive.

And when they do, Minako doesn't even bother to be subtle in the slightest-- the moment she spots Aidou entering the classroom, she doesn't even let him look at the listing, she's already waving and loudly calling out from her spot in the back. ]

Aidou-senpaaaii..! Over here!

[ he immediately stifles a groan and puts on a very stiff upper lip at Minako's familiar manner of greeting. If she's hit the jack pot, he's hit the crack pot.

And her jokes weren't even all that good...

However, he could hardly be rude to his kouhai and so he forced out a sunny smile as he walked over to her. ]

Minako-chan! I'm sitting with you today?

[ all he had to say is that someone, somewhere, owed him a giant freaking sundae after this class was done. He may be a genius, but even geniuses needed something to work with and if they expected him to help Minako get more than above 50 marks on her next exam, they surely didn't know who this girl was! because everything he was going to say would go in one ear and right out the other. it was tough being as handsome as Aidou was... ]

[ Minako can already feel her heart pounding more loudly in her chest with every step he takes in her direction. No way, she's not going to survive this class at this rate.. she'll pass out from too much blood rushing straight to her head at seeing Aidou, she just knows it. But for as long as she's conscious, she'll enjoy this unique opportunity for as much as she can - sure, there might be guys in the school who are hot or mysterious or attractive in their own way, but Aidou is exactly her type. After all, what else would be up to the goddess of love's standards but the school's "idol"?

The girl clasps her hands together, staring at her with eyes that are practically almost shining. ]

Let's make sure to work together reaaaally well! [ Why does it somehow sound like she doesn't mean "work together on the school work".. ]

[ the only answer to her question is that she surely wishes him to become a sailor senshi. Don't worry. He'll rock that magical girl transformation in style! ]

But, not to worry, I'm sure you can do it, Minako-chan! [ He smiled cheekily and then plopped his pile of reference books on the table. Taking a seat, he looked over at his "partner" in crime. ] And of you do well with your lessons, I'll treat you to some chocolate!

[ because every idol has a secret stash. It's a rule! ]

[ Well, she sure wouldn't mind Aidou swooping in wearing a tuxedo to save her as she fangirls over him.. ]

C.. c-c-c.. [ For a moment she stutters, but it's probably done on purpose - Minako knows how these scenes play out in shoujo manga, after all, and to be able to create the perfect love-love mood she needs to follow all the cliches. ] Chocolate..?! Y-you're going to let me have some of your precious chocolate, Aidou-senpai?

[ Her words coming flying out of her mouth faster and faster. She's probably even trying to blush at this point. ]

No way, I'd be the luckiest girl in school..!

[ only problem is he prefers to wear only white. The blond and the black just don't go well together. It clashes. /things only an idol considers

He keeps his smile large and wide as he nods ] Does an idol ever go back on his word? Of course not!

[ he smiled brightly ] But I expect the best marks out of you if you want a piece of my secret stash. You'll have to work hard! [ but then he leaned in slightly and whispered, taking a quick glance around the room ] But you'll have to keep this a secret from all the others. I don't want you to get hurt!

[ because it'd probably cause a riot, let's be real. Of course, the odds of him giving away any chocolate is rather low and Aidou was a genius. Playing the odds was his specialty! which is why he often wonders why Shinpachi didn't ask him more often for advice on his horse races. It was so clear that Prancing Pony was going to win over Dark Thunder! ]

As long as he makes sure to sparkle. ]

Oh, I'm really great at keeping secrets! [ Which.. is sort of true? When she's serious she can take secrets to her grave, but when she's being a ditz she'll spill all about less important things without a care.. but she sure seems convinced of her case for now, widely smiling at him.

And it's not exactly like Minako means to push her luck, but she figures she can at least say something like-- ]

And maybe if I get really, really great marks.. senpai will give me something more than that?

[ Pushing her fingers together and blushing like only the most shoujo of shoujo heroines can do at that! ]

[ as if he doesn't sparkle every day He gave her a wide-eyed look of bemusement as the evil seeming finger steeple. ]

More then my legendary chocolate stash?

[ the nerve of this girl! but he doesn't back down from the challenge and after tapping his elbow and peering at her with a semi critical eye, he nodded. ]

All right! If you get a hundred on the next exam, I'll treat you to a piece of cake! [ because it ain't gonna happen, but then again, anything was possible. Look at Yuuki after all. She somehow managed to stay in the same school as Kaname Kuran and that was a pretty impressive feat! ]

[ When it's for a worthy enough reward, Minako will even move heaven and earth, you just see, Aidou...

Because cake is already sounding good. Maybe not exactly what she was aiming at, but surely one thing will lead to another. Or at least, in her mind they sure do. Her and Aidou eating cake together, and then he'll feed her a forkful, and then they lean in closer and closer and he finally realises just how attratched to her he is...

.. no, no, control yourself, Minako!! This is no moment to get worked up, play it cool! ]

Cake would be delicious.. [ ".. to eat directly off your body, Aidou-senpai"... no, no, too bold..! Minako clutches her cheeks, clearly fangirling to herself over something she doesn't bother mentioning out loud. ]

If all I need to do is get a hunderd, that'll be a piece of cake!

[ he just linefaces for a good solid minute before he finally plops down in the seat next to Minako, clearly not impressed with the pun at all or of the pointing out of it.

That totally ruins the joke you know! ]

ahem, then shall we get started? Where are you in your lesson book?

[ or, rather, just how much does Minako really know and just how many free periods is Aidou going to give up to help her out? He should really start billing the school for his services. ]

[ She picks up her book, idly browsing through it. See, the problem isn't necessarily that Minako is dumb - she's smart enough when she has to be and she's naturally good at some stuff, at least - but it's more that she's lazy and never pays attention in class since she's too busy.. you know. Doing the important stuff. Like passing notes or drawing hearts in her notebooks. Totally important.

Which is why, after a few moments of browsing, she just lets out a sigh. ]

Actually, I have no idea! Why don't we start at the beginning?

[ Best suggestion... ]

[ he drops an elbow and slams into the desk in sheer and utter shock. ]

The beginning!

[ opps, he quickly coughs and then lowers his voice, leaning into minako and sweating profusely until the other students look away from that little outburst. ]

What do you mean, the beginning? We're ten weeks in to the semester!

[ but he then grabs her notebook and starts flipping through the pages himself, face growing paler and paler by the second at how... utterly not full of schoolwork the pages are. Give him a moment.

He may still pass out from shock. ]

[ Despite his outbursts, Minako looks entirely calm as she stares at him.. what, you mean it isn't totally normal to never pay attention in math class? Maybe she just wants Nagakura-sensei to come over and bend over her desk with those exposed muscles of his, who could blame her.. ]

Um.. well, when I say the beginning, I mean the beginning! [ Said with a totally happy and radiating smile. Totally normal. Totally not Aidou panicking right next to her and attracting half the class' attention..

She grabs the book back from him, turning a few pages, and then shows it to him - instead of schoolwork, there's a (not too great) drawing of Minako in a wedding dress and Aidou in a suit. ]

I wouldn't mind starting here either though, if you'd want to..

[ Minako is about as subtle as a brick to the head, yes. ]

Aidou stared, eyes unfocused on the page in front of him until his eyes suddenly narrowed, glaring at the page and his hand reaches out to slam the book down on the table. ]

Don't joke with me. If you can't even do one page of a workbook as easy as this, you can forget about that wedding cake! Starting today, you're under strict guidance. If you skip a single lesson, I'll torture you until you relent. Just try me. I never make promises I can't keep!

[ because once Aidou's spartan blood gets fired, he means business and if he has to spend the whole year making Minako into a credible, start pupil, he will. Or die trying!

Let's be honest, it's going to be death, isn't it? ]

[ .. Wow. To some people that might have been threatening, especially since it involves school work and all, but Minako's just conveniently blocking that part out of her mind to just focus on the part that means spending time with Aidou. Spending a lot of time with Aidou.

Her eyes are probably shining as she looks at him. An entire school year spent with senpai.. close, personal and private lessons.. as they sit together at a table after school, their hands touch as they reach for the same eraser, and from there, a magnificant love story builds!

So Minako, completely lost in her own world, just lets out a dreamy sigh as he flops forward straight onto their desk. ]

Please, go right ahead, senpai..! Torture me as you please..! [ The kind of giggle that follows probably isn't too appropriate for a classroom setting. But Minako and shame haven't seen each other in a long time. ]

[ he immediately whaps her over the head with her workbook ]

Stop sighing and get to work!

[ and then he drops he book in front of her and stares down his nose at her and wondering, frantically, if there was something wrong with this girl because she clearly wasn't taking him seriously at all. Even Yuuki at least apologized for being an idiot! ]

[ At least being whapped seems to give some sort of reaction. Not that she seems too fazed, considering she's not getting angry or even wincing at it, but she does sit up straight again with a smile. Who cares that the school work is boring as long as it means Aidou's here to help her - and more importantly, here to stay. ]

Fine, fine, so let's start with this question about the root of things.. [ Blink. ] Huh, I didn't know we also did biology in the middle of math class now! What a shocking development..!

[ a question mark appears on his face and over his head and he stares at her quizzically. ]

Biology? It's a math class, there shouldn't be any -- [ he stared in horror and then suddenly hissed in a rare attempt to keep his voice down ] Just how many classes are you failing!

[ because, oh dear. His head was spinning and the room was getting dizzy and why him? Someone, quick! Get this man a cookie! ]

[ Alas, there's no saving you once you get involved with Minako, that's how it works.. and she's completely oblivious to his distress on top of it too. In fact, she doesn't even seem as distressed as she should be about her academic failure going on here.. ]

Um.. [ Genuinely considering this for a moment! Turning to count on her fingers, humming to herself, some serious calculations going on here in her mind.. ]

.. well, I have a really good average grade in P.E.?

[ When she has to give that sort of answer, you know what the answer to the actual question is instantly, huh. ]

[ there's just a very loud and drawn out groan coming from Aidou as he sinks his head into his hands once again, sprawling full out over the desk. When he recovers, he just speaks straight into the surface, voice muffled to say the least. ]

Don't you care at all about your studies?

[ because what's a man supposed to do? he can't exactly just go out on a date for every work book successfully answered with 100% correct! (what if she tries to cheat?) ]

[ But that's exactly what she's trying to get out of here! What use is doing school work if you don't get rewards for it from handsome guys, really..

She leans over a little bit, staring at the way he's lying there on the desk. At least she knows he's not really hurt or anything, so not a single bit of her attitude becomes any less energetic and happy despite the conversation. ]

If Aidou-senpai cares about it, then me too..! [ Totally being subtle here. Not betraying her ulterior motives whatsoever. Nope. ] If this kind of thing will bring us closer and start our heart-pounding romance, then I'll do my best! Minako Aino-sama will give it her full 100%!

[ At least her determination sounds genuine enough, but for all the wrong reasons.. ]

[ his head immediately lifts and there's a sudden crafty look in his eye ]

You want a heart-pounding romance, huh?

[ he smirks a little as he leans in, cheer smile suddenly back and ready to stay! ]

I suppose I could help with that but only if you manage to answer every single one of these work books at a hundred percent before the end of the week! I'm sure I could hook you up with a date for one day. I don't think Shiki has any jobs this weekend...

[ and if not, well. Some poor day student is just going to have to step up and fill the void. ]

[ See, she's fairly willing to go along with this premise. It sounds pretty impossible, to suddenly have all of that at a hunderd percent, but Minako is actually pretty decent when she's actually putting effort into it..

.. but then he says the last line. Wait, what? Sure, not like she'd mind a date with any of them, but Aidou's definitely her goal here, he's the most fitting one for her after long deliberations she's had about this before!

So her look? Total disappointment. ]

What do you mean, talking about Shiki-senpai?! I want it to be Aidou-senpai himself and no one else..!

[ fjdsk that's exactly what he thought she was aiming for. Don't you dare take him for a fool! But he keeps his calm and he smooths down the cuff of his uniform, completely showing off his "idol" look ]

You can't expect to have a date with the great Aidou for just that small amount of work!

[ small steps Aidou. It's not like she's going to accomplish this first one anyway. ]

If you don't like Shiki, there's Kain but I didn't take you for the silent type. [ Although Kain was certainly the mothering type. Perhaps he would do Minako good... ]

[ Minako's totally pouting like a little kid by now. In fact, she's grabbed her notebook and she's busy tearing the edges off the papers just so she has something to keep her hands idle and keep her from just exploding.. ]

It doesn't matter if it's Shiki-senpai or Kain-senpai..! [ They're all pretty handsome in their own way, after all, but if it was that simple then she could just have tried to approach one of the others. Aidou tends to have crowds following him even moreso than some of the others, after all. ]

You could offer Kaname-senpai himself and I'd still be asking for you!

[ Although Kaname is super hot. Hold-on-and-let-me-fan-myself kind of hot. But Aidou just suits her more, she's pretty sure she can find a better friend of hers to hook up with Kaname, and then maybe sometimes they can swap or something.. the perfect plan. ]

[ the only way that kind of poly relationship would work is if Aidou got to keep Kaname to himself some of the time. First loves should never got to waste after all! But Aidou is just deadpanning at Minako as the horror level just continues to rise at every word uttered.

Except... a sudden light went off again and he's swallowing down a blush as he turned the sparkles back on. ]
