[ So. Someone didn't show up to class today. And it's not like Mahiru is the class president or responsible for people coming to class in any way, yet she still goes to handle this personally. Their class president is a slacking off no good boy either way, someone needs to do it and she figures she's the one for this. If she doesn't, nobody will.

So you better be hiding well wherever you are whle skipping class, because Mahiru is on the hunt. She's carrying her camera with her as usual too, but that's more a default kind of thing. ]

[ What's to hide? He's a delinquent, and everyone knows it. He didn't even bother to try to sneak into the classroom. He simply opened the door, right in the middle of the third period lecture, and went straight to his seat in the back corner. What a drag...he didn't even want to be here. ]

[ .. Seriously, this guy.. At least she doesn't stand up during class, something like that is still something she wouldn't do, but the moment lunch break starts she's right over at his desk, slamming down her hands on it. ]

Okazaki-kun! What did you think you were doing earlier?

[ He just threw her a lazy glare. Jeez, this chick. Why did she feel the need to get on everyone's cases like this? ]

During a time that you're supposed to have class? Geez, that's no good, no good at all! You're supposed to show up when you have class!

[ as if that wasn't obvious.. ]

[ Oh come on, just go back to your desk already. ]

What, are you failing this class because I'm not showing up?

[ she sticks up her index finger. ]

[ He was about to comment on that. On how he didn't care what they called him, or what they thought of him, and if anyone had a problem, he'd just beat them up, but...

Wait, what did she say? He gave her a look that could only be described as the lovechild of confusion and disappointment. ]

[ .. ah?! She didn't even realise her word choice there, nor what people could think of it.. but when it's pointed out like that, it does sound rather strange and embarassing, right? Her face immediately lights up to a bright red, matching her hair, and she shakes both her head and hands at him. ]

I-it's just better sounding than 'in my mind'! Why, what's wrong with it?!

[ Wow, he didn't even know faces could get that red. What, did she really not think her words through? He always just spoke his mind, so he never had to worry about that, but...His voice dropped to a whisper. ]

It almost sounds like your confessing your love to me. Everyone's looking at us now. [ Indeed, at her words, most of the classroom had stopped and stared at the two. God, why couldn't he just go home? ]

[ Her face only gets more red at his following words, and slowly she turns her head to peer at the rest of the class.. and it's true - he's right - they are all looking this way. And that only makes her more embarassed, but she tries to clear her throat and tell them off, no matter how unconvincing she sounds right now while she's completely flustered. ]

Don't you have anything better to do?! Get back to your work while I'm talking to Okazaki-kun! [ .. at least it seems most of them lost interest now, just going on with their lunch break as Mahiru still stares around in her flustered mood, trying to take some deep breaths before looking back at him. ]

What was that supposed to be for..?!

[ Watching her call out the rest of the students in her flustered state...that was pretty amusing. Of course, once she calmed down, now she was back on his case. Why...why was she so worried about him? ]

It was supposed to be a distraction. [ He said with a straight face. ]

No, don't worry. I already know you'll come on time tomorrow.

[ she slams down one of her hands on his desk, palm down. ]

Because starting tomorrow, the two of us are going to walk to school together! Give me your address, I'll stop by your house on my way!
