[ It took some.. persuading - or rather, half-dragging - to convince Shiki to go with her to the amusement park, but the effort was definitely worth it, right? Because this is for sure a heart-pounding date, nothing else but that! It's practically the very epitome of youthful spring at sixteen..!! But okay, calm yourself Minako, you still have to actually do the whole date thing..

Still, the moment they enter the amusement park Minako seems to live up like some little kid, excitedly staring at about everything there is to be seen before spinning around to face the guy with a big smile. ]

[Shiki on the other hand... Look frustered and annoyed at how she's acting like she's never been an amusement park before. He had to admit (deep down) that she was really cute when she was looking happy and he was actually looking forward to this. But...

He wasn't going to admit it. Or more like he doesn't want to admit that to himself. Awkwardly adjusting his glasses and ignoring any stares that are bought their way, he sighs.]

Mi~na~ko... Do you think you can control yourself for five minutes? People are already staring at us!

[ You're underestimating her ~~power~~ shamelessness, Shiki. In fact, her smile doesn't fade in the slightest - instead she moves over to him to try and link their arms so they can walk around like it's a proper date. ]

[ .. He's giving in already? At that her mood seems to do a complete 180 once again, the pout disappearing and instead being replaced with a bright smile - although you shouldn't trust that giggle of hers, Shiki.. ]

I was thinking of.. that! [ she's pointing at the fastest rollercoaster in the entire amusement park, yes. ]

Wha--- [Ah, she looks like that she's cheered up. But that giggle isn't bolding any good feelings on his end. Now he's looking at the rollarcoaster... Waaaait a minute. This won't bold well at all!]

Wait, hold on a second... Are you sure that you aren't pointing another ride? T-that isn't the only rollarcoaster around here!

Of course I'm pointing at that one right over there! Are you saying you don't want to go on that one, Shiki?

No way. I thought you were gonna start off with a much slower ride. Besides... Wouldn't that one take ten years off of your life?

Come on, you're talking like some old man! [ She's already moving to grab his arm and drag him off again, slowly towards the rollercoaster.. ]

Surely a brave kind of guy like you isn't afraid of a single rollercoaster, right?

[ She doesn't even seem to notice the change with the way she's still happily dragging him even now.. ]

Good, good! The first one to scream has to give the other a gold bar! ... Ah, but I guess treating them to ice cream would be a good thing to start with first. [ nodnod. ]

Gold bar? I may come from a rich family, but it's not like I carry those on me at all times. [Oh, she was joking... He thinks.] Yeah, I think ice cream would be more managable. Just where did a gold bar come from, anyway?

[ now she's just being full of herself again - on the surface, at least, but maybe it's partially a joke too with the way she's laughing. ]

But I'll accept your offering of ice cream all the same! The goddess of love and beauty is merciful, after all!

Be careful, Minako. With all of that hot air, you might end up floating away.

[And naturally, he returns the joke with another. But it's in good spirits. Better than her chewing her out, right?]

You know... I never bothered to ask, but what's your favorite ice cream favor?

[ Definitely, if it's just a joke she's laughing all the same. Although at that question she stops for a moment, curiously blinking at him instead. ]

Huh? Asking that at a time like this.. [ thinking about it now, though. ] .. Hmm.. I guess that'd have to be strawberry ice cream! It's nice, simple and fruity!

I should've known that you've pick out something like that. [But now that he thinks about it...] I don't really have a specific flavor. I guess I would be torn between vanilla or chocolate if I had to pick something?

You can't make a choice, Shiki?! But that's one of the most important aspects of life!

[ cue Minako rambling on a subject that actually.. doesn't matter all that much, but apparently does to her with how worked up she gets about it. ]

What kind of ice cream flavor a person likes can say a lot about them! No, maybe it could even predict what kind of future they'll have..!

Hey, hey. Now you're starting to get way out there. I can understand ice cream representing someone's personality... [With a adjustment of his glasses and a huff.]

But predict the future? There's no way that it could do something like that.

If cards can predict people's future, why not ice cream? I would personally pick ice cream over any card!

[ Despite not being as bad as Usagi, there's still no way this girl would turn down free ice cream. So she seems pretty intrigued at the very idea of it, really. ]

[ That's a pretty accurate prediction. Because once he says it, she just starts squealing - and yes, it's loud, and yes, it's high too. She's even clasping her hands together, this is typical teenage girl excitement right here. ]

Getting me ice cream.. that's so romantic! It's the number two best thing to do on a date!

[COVERING HIS EARS BECAUSE MINAKO WHY. But at least she's happy... That's the most important thing, right? There's a grumble once she finishes and he blinks at her.]

I can assure you that Minako Aino's Love-Love Diary is one of the most interesting and useful diaries in there, since it has wonderful information on only the very cutest of guys!

[OH NO. He won't admit that he is KIND OF curious to see what's in it because reasons, but clearing his throat awkwardly after hearing that.]
