shirasaki: (to go looking for the enemy)

[ Soon enough it became clear just why the connection between Sakura and Botan had become a little more open - there was some sort of mission that required the talents and efforts of both organisations to succeed.

A mission big enough that even the cadets were called upon to carry out some parts of it. And luckily enough - or not, depending on how you view it, but it's not like Mamoru is going to feel bad about any opportunity at all he has during their work to be able to protect Kiraki or at least be around to protect her if necessary - the group of members from the Convent their little group from the Church was paired up with was exactly Kiraki's group.

But when the mission turned out to be infiltrating some sort of upper class party for information, Mamoru was easily shoved forward to do the mingling part of the infiltrating due to his people skills.

.. except then the next part of said infiltration was that apparently Kiraki was supposed to go with him and pose as his lover.

(Surely not something Kamikita thought up, but he did notice Kuroko oddly giggling.. well, it's not like he didn't giggle more often.)

Not that Mamoru protested though. Even if they really were a couple, it's not like their superiors knew. (Not officially, anyway, considering Mamoru is just about the least subtle person ever no matter how much he tries.) So he figures that this - despite it being a mission and him taking it seriously - might be one of the few chances for them to have an actual date.

.. A date.

(Somehow it feels much easier when it was still just spending time with Kiraki rather that seems to carry a weight as heavy as a date.)

So he's waiting near the place the party is at, the others acting as backup on the mission from a distance. And Mamoru? Well-- he just waits for Kiraki to show up, nervously fiddling with the tie of his suit a little. ]
