It isn't because he's completely comfortable with everything, because this situation is so, so new - Eiri has been kissed before - but it's also different from what he's experienced. And it's because they have grown to understand each other better and actually know more about each other that Eiri can read into the gentleness that Haku displays.
Haku usually doesn't make an effort to be careful around Eiri because they both know that Eiri can take it, regardless of how he acts. Haku is embarrassing, after all, but he's Haku. That's just how he is, that's how he'll probably always be and Eiri has accepted it.
