[ It takes him a few moments to notice the look on her face dropping, mostly since the boxes in his arms take up most of his sight. But once he hears her talk and her tone droops, he looks to the side to her - risking the fact he might just walk straight into someone, but this is Shinpachi, he doesn't care a whole lot about looking dignified - and notices that she's looking a little bit more down, or at least worried.

And.. well, maybe it's just the fact that he's letting all these promises pile up to a point where he'll soon do just about anything for her, he's sure, but he does know he promised that he'd make everything alright. So if she's making a worried face like that, the very least he can do is try to help out by offering a simple solution. It's no effort to him at all, after all. ]

[ In his room, yes. Shinpachi's a lot less quick to flip out over a girl being in his room than Heisuke, although it's mostly due to his sheer obliviousness.. ]

At worst I'll be roomed with Sano and I doubt he's gonna mind you staying with us either. But I'll probably have my own room, so then there shouldn't be any trouble.

[ Having Chizuru, someone who's in on his secret, as his roommate is a lot easier than any other alternative, anyway. One thing he's noticed the past few days that it's so terribly difficult for him now to sleep the whole night through, he just keeps waking up and feeling wide awake every hour or so, even when he's exhausted to hell and back during the day. ]
