Most of them were, but some of them were travelers who had taken ill while in the city, and when they couldn't make it to his clinic he had sometimes gone to visit them at their lodgings. Chizuru hadn't really accompanied him; it was one thing for her to help him out when they were operating out of their home, but showing up as an assistant when she's had no real medical training would be something else entirely.
(She might be able to do so now, but... is it too late? When is she ever going to see her father again? ...and even if he does survive this war... knowing what she knows now about his involvement with the rasetsu, she has to wonder if he'll ever be content to going back to treating human ailments.)

I'm not... sure. But, it doesn't feel right for me to get my own room when there's so little space. [She knows she's a girl - the captains know she's a girl - but the rank-and-file soldiers don't know she's a girl, and things are going to be difficult enough to manage without any added resentment or animosity over her seeming to get special treatment. She worries her lip.
It would definitely feel improper to have her share with a larger group, and if she's not kept apart someone really might find out about her gender, and they don't need any issues with morale now of all times...]
