Tidus doesn't turn around when Inigo takes him at first; a sweep of shoulders shivering, a mouth clenched tight so he can't spill any more tears than what's already wetting his face. Listening to that declaration, nothing to blot him out. The fire's become a distant thing, the mission, everything--it feels all far away. Tidus doesn't know how to progress beyond tonight.
But he looks--slowly, with shame, torn by the inevitability of what's to happen to him, and wanting to believe in friend. His friends. That there could be a future for him.
