[ It doesn't even matter if Kitae is a little rude about that statement. For one, it's not like Suah isn't used to it. There's only so long you can know Kitae, especially the way she does, before you realise it's just part of him. Besides, in the long run it doesn't mean much. It's not like Kitae really dislikes her.. if he did, he just wouldn't hang out with her like this to begin with. She knows him well enough to know that. And if it was ever really needed, he'd help her out since he cares about her.

It's why the slight rudeness in the statement seems to fly completely past her. Instead she just grabs the box from him.. and then goes in for a half-tackle hug anyway. At least it's not at full force since she is holding onto the chicken so it won't be knocking anyone off their feet right now, but it's still very much a Suah hug - much more intense than any gesture like that ought to be, but with enough love in it all the same.
Not like it isn't nice to hug Kitae anyway. Look at that face! He's like a soft and cute animal on the outside, and even though some people might claim otherwise about the inside, Suah thinks Kitae is a cute and soft animal anyway, it's just that that side of him doesn't peek out very often. But when there's a glimpse of that smile he doesn't seem to give people outside of their very tiny friends circle or when he actually does seem affected or hurt by his shitty circumstances.. well, those parts of him are incredibly endearing, and it makes Suah want to mother bear hug him into oblivion. Even if she's very small for a mother bear... details, details. ]

It's the half truth anyway, and that way it might be a little less awkward for Kitae.

With how wildly she's handling the box, one might assume it'd fall at any moment.. yet she somehow manages to keep it from falling anyway. She'd call it talent, although it's probably mixed in with a good portion of sheer luck. Even as she swings around to walk back into the house and gestures for the guy to follow her and the box dangerously sways for a moment along with her. ]
