It feels a little like kicking a puppy - a particularly rude puppy, but a puppy all the same. It's not like he ever really means or meant to hurt Minji, it's just that being deadpan is a way of living for him and usually people he comes in contact with (... okay, just his best friend) kind of gloss over it. So seeing someone he actually is decently okay with having this reaction to it feels bad.
