Kazutake tries so hard on his behalf, and sometimes he wishes that there were a way to convince him completely that he's content with his lot in life. Happy, no. It's not good enough to be happy. But it is enough, and he doesn't want his grandfather to struggle so much with the consequences he could have never seen coming.

But perhaps doing just this in the far future would be enough to convince him.]
