[Ah yes, the ending of Saitou's route, Amagiri's five seconds of glory.........

Regardless, there's definitely a line that is crossed there, and that line is something Kazama has never really respected. Unfortunately, there's really not a lot Amagiri can do about that. While a lot of it is about debts, honor and respect, there's also the fact that Kazama could probably kick his ass if he chose to. They've obviously never fought to the death, but Amagiri is aware enough of his own skills and limits to know that it probably wouldn't go his way.

(Which is just irritating, like, the brat should not also get all of the strength--)

But obviously, that does not apply to Kazutake. And honestly, Amagiri is grateful for it. Truly, in the end, he just did what Amagiri sort of wished he could do so many times but never actually did or put into words that he wanted to.]

...No. [yes maybe a little but no.] Their actions were out of line. [That's why he stepped in in the first place (of course he still thinks it's their actions before said attempted shanking that deserved intervention, and not the attempted shanking itself).

A breath, and he manages to shake off the awe long enough to remember himself, bowing his head.]

I apologize that you were forced to intervene. [Babysitting is sort of his job.

and he's also still sort of missing the point of the intervention.]
