It's a little strange to Kazutake, who has always only seen himself as a part of the bigger whole - he's only thought of himself as the head of his clan because of the duties it brought him, not because it would give him any status above the others.

But here is his grandson, speaking to him so earnestly, telling him that he'll fight so he can live in peace, so the clan can.. there's a warmth that swells in his heart despite the circumstances. ]
